Η ιστοσελίδα αυτή δημιουργήθηκε το 2016 στο πλαίσιο του έργου Aqua-M το οποίο χρηματοδοτήθηκε στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος Διασυνοριακής Συνεργασίας IPA CBC «Ελλάδα-πρώην Γιουγκοσλαβική Δημοκρατία της Μακεδονίας 2007-2013″ με συντονιστή εταίρο το Δήμο Γευγελής και συνεργαζόμενους εταίρους το Δήμο Παιονίας και τη ΔΕΥΑ Παιονίας.
Σήμερα, 3 χρόνια μετά η ιστοσελίδα αυτή ανανεώνεται σε μορφή και περιεχόμενο, καθώς εδώ και ένα χρόνο υλοποιείται υπό το συντονισμό και πάλι του Δήμου Γευγελής ένα νέο έργο, συνέχεια του Aqua-M, το Aqua-M II.
Το έργο AQUA-M II εγκρίθηκε και υλοποιείται στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος Διασυνοριακής Συνεργασίας Interreg IPA «Ελλάδα – Δημοκρατία της Βόρειας Μακεδονίας» 2014 – 2020.Εταίροι του έργου είναι :
– ο Δήμος Γευγελής,
– το Τμήμα Χημείας του ΑΠΘ μέσω του ΕΛΚΕ,
– η ΔΕΥΑ Παιονίας,
– η ΔΕΥΑ Χαλκηδόνας
– η Δημόσια Επιχείρηση “Komunalec” της Γευγελής
Το έργο αποσκοπεί στην αποτελεσματική και συνεχή παρακολούθηση της διαχείρισης της ποιότητας των υδάτων του Αξιού Ποταμού, μέσω της εφαρμογής κοινών συστημάτων παρακολούθησης, διαχείρισης και ενίσχυσης της συνεργασία μεταξύ των αρμόδιων φορέων και αρχών των δύο χωρών.
Ζητούμε την κατανόησή σας για ένα μικρό διάστημα ακόμα, καθώς η ανανέωση και ο εμπλουτισμός του περιεχομένου για το νέο έργο, θα ολοκληρωθεί σύντομα.
This website was created in 2016 in order to promote the Aqua-M project funded within the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme IPA CBC «Greece-the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia 2007-2013″ coordinated by the Municipality of Gevgelija in cooperation with the Municipality of Paionia and the Municipal Enterprise for Water Supply and Sewerage of Paionia.
Today, after years, this website is being updated in terms of structure and content, since from 2018, the Aqua-M II project -considered as the follow-up of Aqua-M project started, once again coordinated by the Municipality of Gevgelija.
The project AQUA-M II was approved and is being implemented within the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Interreg IPA CBC «Greece-Republic of North Macedonia».

The project aims to contribute to the effective and continuous monitoring of the water quality management of Axios River through the application of joint monitoring and management systems and the strengthening of cooperation among responsible stakeholders and authorities in both countries.
